Are we seeing a repeat of these

Investment Strategies such as "buy and hold" that worked very well between 1982 and 2000, have NOT worked since the new millenium. A different approach for today's type of economy and investment market might be the most prudent course.

Inflation protected strategies and avoiding sectors that performed poorly during the 1965-1982 cycle are worth considering. The past 10 years have been a "lost decade" of growth. The average "sideways" type market we may be experiencing lasted 18 years.
